In what could possibly be one of the weirdest and most wonderful collaborations of the year, the READYMADE x Nike blazer Mid finally has a release date. first leaked back in Halloween, Yuta Hosokawa’s take on the ’70s classic is unlike anything we’ve seen before, and honestly, that’s probably why we love it as much as we do.
As if someone had placed the blazer Mid and blended in for thirty seconds, the READYMADE shoe is deconstruction at its craziest form. working on a black nylon base, camo motifs make their way across the collar and tongue while the lateral and medial sides are decked out with a deformed Swoosh that is sure to turn heads. Thick rope laces tie everything together complete with duct tapes aglets, giving the collab an extra rugged fit and finish.

Of course, you can’t talk about this Nike collab without mentioning the oversized pull tab around the back and the midsole that’s been left unfinished. Rumour also has it that the entire shoe is crafted from upcycled materials though this has yet to be officially confirmed.
Expected to launch alongside two other colourways on February 27th, the READYMADE x Nike blazer Mid was made to turn heads wherever you go. let us know if you’ll be copping this crazy collaboration, and while you’re here, you might as well get up close with the sacai x Nike blazer low “Classic Green”!
