Following their critically acclaimed Type O-1 collection which made waves last week, OAMC and adidas are back with yet another high heat collaboration. aptly dubbed the type O-2, it’s the brainchild of Supreme’s Luke Meier and Carhartt WIP’s Arnaud Faeh, and here’s everything that you need to know!
While the aforementioned type O-1 takes inspiration from the Supercourt RX, the type O-2 takes things a little further, retaining the same sculpted midsole but slapping on the upper from the legendary Stan Smith. This is then infused with OAMC’s ’90s grunge detailing, resulting in a sneaker that’s really unique.

In terms of colourways, the type O-2 will be available in two flavours. The Type O-2L will be made from leather and will drop in ‘Black’ and ‘Off-White’ hues, while the Type O-2R gets a rubber construction and will release in ‘Off-White’, ‘Medical Green’, and ‘All Black’ – the latter of which will be exclusive to the OAMC webstore.
While we’re a little sad to see that the forefoot strap has been left out for this release, we’re delighted that the OAMC x adidas Type O-2 collection will be dropping soon, scheduled in for an October 8th release date. launching alongside a trio of complementary socks, make sure you stay tuned for much more info as it develops! Which colourway are you feeling the most? let us know!
